The disease is deadly, the disease is ghastly.
Its scourge impacts our society so vastly.
We all seek to get an ever eluding answer;
An answer to conquer the epidemic of cancer.
Our moral conscience asks for more co-operation;
And demands all nations for help and co-ordination.
We cannot afford to lose the war on cancer;
Else our society will be bereft of an answer.
The disease's economic toll drains down our scarce resources;
It overwhelms even a superpower despite superior armed forces.
It is call of our time to unlock the power of science,
By investing money and talent to find a cure, and save our conscience.
